Bespoke Contemporary Beds Collection - available in a wide range of fabrics & colours

Our bespoke Manhattan contemporary bed is a sleek fashion bed design that would suit a vast range of fabrics. It is shown upholstered in Charcoal Moon wool with chrome feet. As this is is a custom made bed the options are extensive. This bed has an opulent quality with its luxurious thickly padded head end and extra wide display base. If you prefer you could indulge your inner interior designer self and re-design this bed to your taste, for example in a practical faux leather with oak feet or specify a rich velvet extra low bed for a dramatic statement, using favourite colours to suit your décor or lifestyle.

Step 1:  Our bespoke “design your own” collection allows almost limitless options. We make the bed design of your dreams to your specification and colour scheme. Our designers and craftsmen are on hand to help with your plans and offer suggestions. This bespoke bed can be made to measure in standard or custom sizes. The headboard can be taller or shorter.  Custom changes to the standard sizes may incur a surcharge.    sales@robinsonsbeds.co.uk 

Step 2: Choose the fabric. Our comprehensive range of fabrics include -

  • c.o.m. *subject to suitability and must be fire retardant

from quality fabric houses such as: Bute wool, Johnstons of Elgin, Moon wool, Abbotsford, Romo, Designer Guild, Linwood, Warwick, Ross, Kirkby Design, Crest Leather, Skopos, Streets and others in a myriad of textures and colours. Given the vast number of possible fabrics we have only been able to price a small selection online. If there is a particular fabric or colour you wish, please contact us. As we offer a bespoke service, you can also supply a suitable fabric of your own provided it is fire retardant.

Step 3:  The base is upholstered in the same fabric as the headboard eliminating the need for a valance.  You can specify the height of the base: low, medium or very high. Choose your favourite feet for the bed base to finish the look. We have displayed a small selection here however if there is something specific you are looking for let us know as we have many more options available.

The Bespoke Manhattan is a most impressive bed with its contemporary styling it would add character and comfort to your bedroom whether it is modern or classic in design. This is a superb hand crafted piece of furniture produced here to the highest standard. You can order extra material if you wish to make a throw or matching cushions etc.
