Our Venice bespoke contemporary bed is a stylish bed with a sumptuous padded headboard  giving a sophisticated tailored look which enhances smart bedrooms in boutique hotels and fine homes. It is shown here upholstered in Bute Fabric's Iona finely woven new wool with chrome feet but it is equally as pleasing teamed with more traditional wooden feet or castors. The Venice Bespoke bed's unfussy lines allows for a superior quality of finish. This is a superb hand crafted piece of furniture produced in Scotland to the highest standard in a material and size you choose.

Step 1:  Our bespoke “design your own” collection allows almost limitless options. We make the design of your dreams to your specification and colour scheme. We’ll even help with suggestions if you like. Our designers and craftsmen are on hand to help with your plans. This bespoke bed can be made to measure in standard or custom sizes. The headboard can be taller or shorter.      sales@robinsonsbeds.co.uk 

Step 2:  Choose your fabric or use your own. Our comprehensive range of fabrics include -

  • c.o.m. *subject to suitability and must be fire retardant

from quality fabric houses such as: Bute wool, Johnstons of Elgin, Moon wool, Abbotsford, Romo, Designer Guild, Linwood, Warwick, Ross, Kirkby Design, Crest Leather, Skopos, Streets and others in a myriad of textures and colours. Given the number of available fabrics we have only been able to price a small selection online. If there is a particular fabric or colour you wish, please contact us.

We are happy to discuss colours and fabrics and send out free swatches on request. sales@robinsonsbeds.co.uk or ‘phone 0141 632 1384. As we offer a bespoke service, you can also supply a suitable fabric of your own provided it is fire retardant.

Step 3:  The base is upholstered in the same fabric as the headboard. You can specify the height of the base: low, medium or very high. Choose your favourite feet for the base to finish the look. We have displayed a small selection here however if there is something specific you are looking for let us know as we have many more options available.

Storage options available are: 

  • ½ ottoman storage base 
  • 2 drawers; 1 each side at bottom
  • 4 drawers
  • ½ ottoman storage base + 2 drawers

Note - drawers are not possible in leather or faux leather

Making Bespoke changes may incur extra charges to standard prices.

The Venice's fine proportions are enhanced by good quality fabric; creating a bed which is something special. It is shown here in Bute Fabric’s Iona finely woven 85% pure new wool. You can order extra material if you wish to add a throw, cushions etc.

Venice’s 7cm deep headboard is supplied with wall mounting fixings or wooden straps which attach it to the base; it sits above the mattress.
