Hello there fellow mattress lovers. If you've found yourself here we're guessing you might have a question about to buying one of our mattresses. Here's some FAQ's that might help in that regard, for anything else please do contact us, it would be nice to say hello.

What are your standard sizes?

Single	90 x 190cm (3’ x 6’3”)
Small Double	120 x 190cm (4’ x 6’3”)
Double	137 x 190cm (4’6” x 6’3”)
Kingsize	150 x 200cm (5’ x 6’6”)
Superking	180 x 200cm (6’ x 6’6”)

 

Do you make bespoke sizes?

Yes, all of our beds, mattresses & headboards can be made any size!

 

What does Zip + Link mean?

We can make our mattresses and divan beds so they can be split into two smaller beds or be joined together to create a larger bed. This is a great option for holiday homes or if there is limited access into your bedroom.

 

Can I zip + link two different mattresses together?

Yes, you can mix and match two different supports from the same model. A great example, if you would like an extra-firm support but your partner would like it medium, we are able to create a zip + link mattress to accommodate you both.

 

What fabrics are your beds available in?

We have hundreds of fabrics and colours to pick from, please contact us to arrange samples. Alternatively, you can supply your own fabric. (Please ensure it is FR treated and upholstery fabric).

 

Are there different leg/feet options for your beds?

Yes, we have lots of different options available. Please contact us to discuss the different options.

 

Are you able to reinforce your beds for heavier people?

Absolutely, please contact us to discuss.

 

If I send you a photo of a bed I like can you make it? 

There is no harm in asking, send it our way and we will let you know. As all our beds are made to order 90% of the time the answer will be – YES!!

We make a lot of beds from sample sketches for interior designers to create their vision.

 

Can you alter the height of your beds?

The benefit of all our beds being made to order gives you the luxury of being able to change every detail. Please contact us to make adjustments.

 

Do you ship abroad?

We are able to ship to forwarding companies within the UK for the client to arrange delivery from there.  Some of our clients have used Hedley Humpers to ship abroad.

 

How deep are your mattresses?

Our mattresses vary in depths from 15cm to 30cm. Please see the product description for an accurate measurement.

 

Quality guarantee?

Our pocket spring mattresses come with a 10-year guarantee and our coil spring mattress model has a 5-year guarantee.

 

Can I flip my mattress?

Flip Mayfair and Olympia models. The rest of our mattresses are single sided and should not be flipped – only rotated.

 

How often should I flip my mattress?

If you have our Mayfair or Olympia model, we suggest you flip and rotate your mattress every three months.

 

How do I know which mattress model to pick?

Firstly, have a read through our Mattress Style Guide, this will help give you a better understanding into our different models available.

What is the benefit of the Natura Topper?

There are a few reasons:

 

• If you have opted for a zip + link mattress the topper covers the join which creates the feel of a one-piece mattress
• The combination of our pocket spring mattress topped with our Natura topper has a super luxurious feel, the topper adds more layers of gorgeous natural cushioning.
• Adds an additional layer of protection for your mattress.

 

Do you sell mattress protectors and bedding to fit my bespoke mattress?

Yes, both of these can be found in our ‘Extra’ page. If your size is not available, please contact us to order the correct size.

 

When delivering my new mattress can you take away my old mattress?

Yes, this is an additional service which can be added on at checkout.

 

What is your current lead time?

Mattresses – Approx 2 weeks (all sizes)

Beds – Approx 4 weeks

Can I order a swatch before ordering my bed?

Yes, we can arrange for samples to be posted. Please have a look here at some of our available fabrics.
